Catherine Fennell ( Managing Director of Quilken Ltd) has recently conducted independent research in to the tangible benefits of Executive Coaching in FTSE100 companies.

The study revealed a traceable link between a coaching engagement and the business performance of an organisation.

Return on Investment figures ranged from 3 to a staggering 1250 times cost.

The study highlighted how simple engagement management was often missing in many coaching programmes. Where it was present, the executives gained increased value and further learning about levers of organisational success.

Despite huge financial returns being found, the highest “value” was often placed on the emotional and reflective aspects of coaching, as this was seen to be key in facilitating optimum leadership focus and effectiveness.

This study has been presented at the ICF European Coaching Conference, the Association for Coaching International Conference and is increasingly being requested by companies both small and large.
